A Toxic Situation

Greetings, crafty traveller. Welcome to the Guild Hall. Today we received an urgent message from the village, imploring us to come rid them of a mischief nymph who had appeared last night. The Lady Commander of Copics, Guardian of Glitter and I have dealt with mischief nymphs before and they can be a cumbersome creature to eradicate. We arrived at the village gates and immediately spotted the nymph standing amongst a swirling flock of cawing ravens. I readied my enchanted bow, Fungi and began dispensing of the ravens whilst the Guardian of Glitter and Lady Commander of Copics began blasting the nymph with their dual tech magic - Rainbow Sparkle Beam.
I started this card by cutting the bulbous shape and its shadow using the Art Philosophy cartridge. I stamped the girl from The Greeting Farm’s “Sweet and Toxic” set who was previously an ink virgin. First time I’ve ever used her! I coloured her with Prismacolors, except her dress, ribbons, hair clips and shoes, which I paper pieced. I stamped the birds using the Dylusions “Birds on a Wire” set which I literally bought yesterday. I was so excited to use it, I went a little bird crazy with this card. I dug deeeeeeep into my vast stash of buttons to find some pink ones and a black one to adorn the front of this card. My goal for this year is to use up as many of these stupid things as I can (especially the black ones as there is a disproportionate amount of those).

The inside pink strip I stamped with skulls from the Dylusions “Dependable Dotty” set. The sentiment is from My Creative Time’s “Wow! So Many Candles” set. The skull with a cute bow came from the “Sweet and Toxic” set. I added another bird from the “Birds on a Wire” set to finish off the inside.

I adorned the envelope with more birds from that Dylusions set and added another one of those cute girl skulls.

I don’t normally stamp on the back of the envelopes, but I couldn’t get enough of those birds. I created a “wire” for them to sit on using the Dylusions “Bordering on the Edge” set. That stamp in the corner is stamped on ALL the card envelopes I make. It’s bossy - just like me - which is why I bought it - mwaa haa haa! Every time I use it I gain +50 leadership exp points. As you can imagine, my level is quite high.

This sweet & toxic card will apparate into the following challenges:

The mischief nymph had a high magic defence stat and was easily blocking the Rainbow Sparkle Beam. After the last raven fell, she glared at us, let out a little giggle and vanished amongst a cloud of black smoke. Us Guildys knew this fight wasn’t finished and we’d be seeing her again...

How fabulous! I am loving the stamp and the color combo - the buttons are the perfect touch, though I'm imagining those 3 did not make much of a dent in your stash. Thanks so much for playing with us this week at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges this week. Hope to see you again soon :)
