All Things Explained

Winter greetings and welcome to the Guild Hall. We have a strange visitor at the hall today who calls himself Mr. Claus. He flew in on a sleigh claiming to have just escaped from a remote, dank cave after being trapped there last fall by some villainous man . He looks quite a bit like that fat fellow we had felled last December 24th to free the enslaved elves. I decided to ask this “Mr. Claus” if he knew anything about that situation and his resemblance to the slave driver. As I explained the slavery we had witnessed, his eyes grew large in shock as he slowly started to shake his head, hardly believing what he was hearing.

I started this card by stamping the Santa image by The Octopode Factory onto watercolour paper. I then used Distress Markers and my weapon, Hydra Brush, to add some colour. Lastly I adhered some glitter to the edge of his hat to make it all sparkly.
Bling bling. I received +59 glitter exp points, making the Guardian of Glitter’s heart smile. After I had arranged the papers, I used one of the stamps from the Kraftin’ Kimmie “In Stitches” set to stamp the faux stitching along the top and bottom. I added a red stitchy ribbon and bow and the flash card sentiment and called it done.

On the inside I stamped the vertical holly using the Dylusions “Christmas Borders” set, colouring them in with Distress Markers. I stamped the sentiment from the My Pink Stamper “Biggie Christmas Sentiments” set and added some Octopode Factory holly on either side.

I don’t have any A7 sized envelopes, so I had to create one using my Scoring Board of +80 Creasiness.

This Christmas creation will appear in the following challenges:
Brown Sugar Challenge #28: Anything Goes
The Octopode Friday Challenge: Glitter
CHNC Challenge #111: We don’t want any more snow
Fairy Tale Challenge #60: Sewing - real or drawn
Sparkles Christmas Challenge #25: Anything Goes
CHNC Challenge Extra for February
Spark Your Creativity Now! Challenge #6: Anything Goes
Cupcake Craft Challenge #229: Sketcharoony

Apparently, Mr. Claus had been lured to a remote location and sealed in a magical cave whilst his captor took his place at the North Pole. This would explain the mistreatment of all the elven workers in the shop. Mr. Claus was horrified to hear what had happened in his absence and vowed to take better precautions so this type of atrocity would never occur again.

Haha. +59 to glitter exp indeed. Love the outcome and maybe Mr. Claus will add some security measures - no elves deserve to be treated as such! Thanks for joining us this challenge at TOFF. Goodluck and happy hunting!
