Snow Ghosts Decended

Today the Lady Commander of Copics and I decided to get out of the Guild Hall and enjoy some fresh air. We donned our winter furs and boots, ready to take in the brisk weather. I decided to take my direwolf with us, as he is partial to the snowy conditions. We decided to head to Tumbled Glass Field so Lycan could run in the fresh snow. On our way there though, we were assaulted by some rogue snow ghosts. These creatures tend to only emerge when snow is falling, so it was odd they were roaming around in the sunshine. We drew our weapons, ready for the battle.

I made this ATC using the "Snowy Fran" image by Stampotique. I stamped her on some subtle snowflake patterned paper using Pumice Stone Distress Ink. I then cast a spell of embossing (and used my Cuttlebug) to add some texture to the whole card. I stamped the sentiment from the BugBites "Mistletoe" set, earning me +69 wordsmith exp points. I then used some of the oldest ribbon I own (10 years!) and some white brads, which I've had for at least two trips around the sun, as embellishments.

This creation will melt into the following challenges:
Wicked Wednesday Challenge #71: Celebrate the Season
Use It Tuesday Challenge #49: Fasteners
Simon Says Stamp Challenge: White on White
Spark Your Creativity Now! Challenge #6: Anything Goes
Stampotique Designers Challenge #87: Winter Whites
Paper Playtime Challenge #4: Sentiment Stamps

The snow ghosts were difficult to defeat in the sunlight, seeming to draw power from the sun itself. Luckily my direwolf was with us and I was able to perform some dual technique attacks with him, allowing us to deal massive damage whilst the Lady Commander kept us healed. It is curious that the snow ghosts were out in this kind of weather, leading me to think that someone had unleashed them on purpose. It can only be someone with ill intentions, forcing us to abandon our trip to Tumbled Glass Fields and search for the evil doer.
