Project Robotz: Part 1

A moon’s turn has passed and at last we are preparing our retaliation against the Shrieking Harpies. Our strategy was to build an army of robots, each with different strengths. We started with a communications and scout bot. This guy would be able to scout various locations and transmit all the information back to us. We installed some sonar runes as well as strength gems, to ensure he is not easily disabled by the enemy.

This card is the first of five in a robot set I’m making. I started this one by stamping the cute bot using the Technique Tuesday “Tin Man” image and colouring him with Distress Markers and my level 12 Hydra Brush. I’ve had this set for over a year and I’ve never used the robot image from it (which is the main reason I bought the set). Well, robot...you are no longer an ink virgin! I inked around the edges of the image with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink to make it match the gear paper (another thing I've been hoarding for about two years and FINALLY cut into). The sentiment I stamped using that same “Tin Man” set, earning me +946 punny exp  points and allowing me to level up to a Class 5 Punster.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment using the My Creative Time “Wow! So Many Candles” set. I then added the ziggy lines that look like the ones in the bot's stomach using the Dylusions “Bordering on the Edge” set.

I stamped the same lines on the envelope using Shabby Shutters to make everything all match.

This wee robot will be beeping into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp and Show: Letter “S” (I Stamped as well as used a Sketch)

Once our robot army is built, we shall lay vengeance down upon the Shrieking Harpies for the blow they struck the Guild Hall. Our preparations continue...
