Christmas Holly-Days

Today Hollinda, the village leader of Hollyston, came to visit us at the Guild Hall. At first I was worried that more Cragle demons had been spotted near the town, but she had simply stopped by on her way back from the village market where she had been delivering the last crop of holly from this season. I gave Holinda a tour of the Guild Hall and she was amazed at the crafty quests we completed not only out in the realm, but also in the confines of the crafting chambers.

I started this krafty card by stamping and colouring The Greeting Farm’s “Holiday Anya” using Prismacolor pencils. I cut some shapes out using the Art Philosophy cartridge and stamped the sentiment onto them using the Unity “Everything Christmas” set. I then made the little flower thingies using the leftover stars I had from cutting this card out with the Art Philosophy cartridge last month (seeeee this is why I save everything). I glued some shiny flower sequin type things and a gemstone to the base which made these pretty embellishments, earning me +75 embelly crafting exp points and allowing me to level up that skill!

On the inside I stamped the sentiment with the My Pink Stamper “Biggie Christmas Sentiments” set and added the holly using the Tim Holtz “Christmas Memories” set.

The envelope was stamped with some holly using the Dylusions “Christmas Borders” set. I coloured it in quickly with Distress Markers.

This krafty card will be entered into the following challenges:

Before she took her leave, Hollinda used some of the holly magic to decorate the Guild Hall with the red berried plant.
“Thank you for coming by. You are always welcome at the Crafters Guild,” I said gaping at the decorations.
“The pleasure is all mine, m’lady. Merry Christmas to you and your guildys.” And in a cloud of sparkles, she was gone.
