Today I visited the market square in the village to procure some new small clothes. I’ve been wearing tattered ones with holes and rips which were causing me to suffer -3 to my defence roll. I picked out some new underthings and headed back the Guild Hall, glad I wouldn’t be losing anymore encounters because of my holey undies.
One of my favourite things this year has been using “non-Christmas” stamps on Christmas cards. I’ve had the bra stamp from the Unity “Lifting Me Up” itty bitty for awhile and have never used it, but when I got the “Stuffed With Joy Stockings” itty bitty in the mail...well...how could I not pair that sentiment with this image - lol. I STILL laugh everytime I look at this one. The bra I paper pieced with some snowflake paper and then stamped the background, which was cut with the Art Philosophy cartridge, with a snowflake. The main background panel was embossed with a snowflake folder and my Cuttlebug. I used the Tim Holtz embossing diffuser to leave a smooth space to stamp the sentiment, earning me +99 shadow magic exp points.
On the inside I stamped the stockings which actually came with the sentiment and paper pieced them using the same snowflake paper. Underneath I stamped a simple Merry Christmas using the Lawn Fawn “Cozy Christmas” set.
The envelope was stamped with Christmas lights from the “Cozy Christmas” set and coloured in using Distress Markers to make it match the front. I also added the same snowflakes from the front earning me +329 coordination exp points and allowing me to level up!
This Christmas card will hang out in the following challenges:
When I unwrapped my new purchases to put them away, I noticed something strange about one of the pieces. It was emitting a magical radiance, glowing a soft ice blue. Upon closer inspection, it seems I had inadvertently purchased a new frost brazier, granting me +999 power to all ice attack spells. Who doesn’t love a good deal?! Ummmm….score!
