An Up-Cycled Strike

Today the Lady Commander of Copics and I went to Fuzzy Frost Forest to hunt for nullwork demons. We had received word from the teddy clan living in the forest of a recent infestation of the dangerous creatures. The teddys are a peaceful people, making their home in the woods which are enchanted with a perpetual winter. They are defenseless though, and turned to the Crafters Guild for assistance. Being that the nullworks are so large, it was very easy to track them down. We took out the sentries that were guarding the entrance to a massive cave with a couple well aimed arrows and headed in.

These tags were made by reusing an old Christmas card I received. I cut out the cute bears using the Lawn Fawn “Tag, You’re It” die set. Here is what the Christmas card looked like after:
I stamped the fronts with the Lawn Fawn “Winter Gifts” set, framing the images and then stamped some sentiments on them. I attached some twine to the small tag and some pretty red ribbon to the larger one.

On the backs I stamped the outline again with the “Winter Gifts” set. On the top one I only had enough room for a “to and from” because it was small, but the bottom one I managed to fit a sentiment and a little sprig of holly, earning me +39 earth elemental exp points. This was super easy to do, and you can bet I will be making a TON of tags using old Christmas cards throughout the year.

These tags will cuddle up in the following challenges:

Although the nullworks are large and dangerous, they also have a very low intelligence rating. It was easy to infiltrate their rudimentary hideout and slaughter the remainder of them. It is still unclear as to who released the nullworks into this dimension, as they are not native to the realm and don't have the power to get here on their own. My sister and I headed back to the Guild Hall to begin our investigation.
