Unicorn Fairies' Plight

Today the Lady Commander of Copics and I travelled to the fluffy village of the unicorn fairies. They had sent a message to the Guild Hall requesting help in dealing with some troublesome snarg demons that have been raiding the village as of late. Not one to turn down a plea for assistance (and hopefully some sweet loot as a reward), my sister and I made haste to the cloud covered settlement.

This week the theme at Wicked Wednesday is “Pink & Black & White”. Make an ATC using these colours for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor, Ppinky’s Doll Art.

I started this ATC by colouring the image using Prismacolor pencils. I then masked her off, earning +90 stealth XP, and stamped the clouds using the Lawn Fawn “Into the Woods” set. The stars were stamped with the Lawn Fawn “Critters Ever After” set.

This ATC will float into the following challenges:

It turns out that snarg demons are easily defeated with simple fire magic. After ridding the area of those we could find, we helped the unicorn fairies set up some fire beacons around the village to ward off future attacks. The pink flames burned bright, lighting up the black night, hopefully keeping the peaceful unicorn fairies safe.

A Tacky Farewell

Greetings. Thank you for stopping by the Guild Hall today. I have made the difficult decision to leave the Creative Card Crew Guild after two years with them. A fantastic set of adventurers, I wish them all the best on their crafty quests. In spite of my sadness at parting from the Creative Card Crew Guild, the Lady Commander of Copics and I still had to attend the union of the Arch Duke of Adhesives and his sticky new bride. The wedding was the perfect chance for one more crafty quest with Creative Card Crew.

This card was created for the Creative Card Crew “Shabby Chic” challenge that is happening now. Create something adhering to this theme for a chance to win a prize from our sponsors.

This card will celebrate in the following challenges:

The wedding was a very “tacky” (see what I did there - haha), but I’m sure the couple would be adhered for many years to come.
[Pun level up].

A Flower Field of Dreams

Today the Lady Commander of Copics and I travelled south where there was no snow to do some questing in the Forbidden Fields. Standing amidst a sea of pink grass, I thought I spotted two girls frolicking through the tall rainbow coloured flowers that were swaying in a gentle breeze. Wary of their mechanical looking movements, I placed my hand on the hilt of my sword as the Lady Commander and I approached the strangers.

This week the theme at Wicked Wednesday is “Girly Stuff”. Make an ATC using this theme for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor, Vera Lane Studio. Janet from Vera Lane Studios has generously offered a 10% coupon code to our challenge players - enter code TRYVERA10 at checkout. If you spend $25 or more, you'll receive a 15% discount code!

I got a little carried away with these fantastic images and created three ATCs. So let’s get to it.

The first one was made using the flower image from the “Friendship Mother Daughter” set. I coloured them with Prismacolor pencils adding some white accents with a gel pen, which boosted my white magic XP. Anyone need a healing spell?
This ATC will be entered at Penny’s Challenge #210: Anything Goes.

For the second ATC I used the mother image, also from the “Friendship Mother Daughter” set. She was coloured with Prismacolor pencils which I left unblended for a more sketchy look. The background was made using the Dylusions “Triangles” stencil and Distress Inks. I stamped the sentiment and the flowers in the corner using a couple Unity stamps for a dual strike, dealing massive HP damage.

The final ATC was made using the daughter image from the “Friendship Mother Daughter” set. She was coloured using Prismacolor pencils that were blended with Gamsol. I also used the flower heads of the same image from the first ATC. The sentiment was stamped using the My Pink Stamper “Family & Friends” set.

It was clear that the two girls were not right in the head. We soon discovered that they had eaten some of the rainbow flowers’ petals and were completely high. Worried for their safety, as the Forbidden Fields are not named such for no reason, we lead the girls to the nearby village where they could safely rest until the effects of the flowers wore off. The Lady Commander and I then started the journey back to the Guild Hall, our bags-of-holding stuffed full of loot from our day of questing.

Cat-Astrophe

Today the Lady of Commander of Copics suffered a little mishap with her feline familiar. She was in the crafting chambers, when the little devil snuck in and began playing with a jar of magical ink. I was downstairs sharpening my long sword in front of the fireplace when I was summoned by my sister’s cries of distress.

This week the theme at Wicked Wednesday is a “Color Palette” challenge. Make an ATC using at least three of these colours for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor, All Dressed Up.

For my ATC I used the “Purrrfect Together” image from All Dressed Up and coloured it with Prismacolor pencils. The background was inked with Distress Ink and then sprinkled with water. The red accents were just a scrap scallop circle I had on my desk from another project that I cut apart and used on this ATC, earning +50 unwasteful XP points.

This ATC will get catty in the following challenges:

I couldn’t help but laugh as I entered the crafting chambers and espied my sister’s familiar, Ronin who was now completely green.
“What should I do?” Angela shrieked gesturing to her cat. Ronin mewed in distress.
“Serves him right,” I laughed turning to leave the room.
That evil cat had it coming.

Home on the Ranger Ranch

Today the Lady Commander of Copics and I paid a visit to Ranger Ranch. They had sent a request for help as some of their prized steeds had gone missing. The Lady Commander and I, being the seasoned adventurers that we are, were happy to assist the fine people of Ranger Ranch with their plight.

This card was created for the Creative Card Crew “For a Child” challenge that is happening now. Create something suitable for a child for a chance to win a prize from our sponsors, The Ribbon Girl and Imagine That.

The image was printed using the Imagine That “Lil Cowpokes” kit. It was pre-coloured, earning me +222 bonus speed XP. The sentiment also came from that kit.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment using a Close to My Heart set and the grass with the Dylusions “Shrooms” set.

I also decorated the envelope with the same grass as the inside to tie it all together.

This card will ride on into the following challenges:

Finding the missing horses was an easier quest than most, and we returned them to the Ranch unharmed. Miss E, the owner of Ranger Ranch, hooked us up with some loot and a lead on a new quest. I was more interested in the loot, and stole some of my sister’s when she wasn’t looking. Once a rogue, always a rogue…

Another Trip Begins

A Happy New Year to you, traveller. Thank you for stopping by the Guild Hall today. As we begin another journey around the sun, I have been spending time in the crafting chambers, reflecting upon the past trip whilst organizing the chaotic aftermath of all the frenzied Christmas crafting quests.

This week the theme at Wicked Wednesday is “Anything Goes” Make any ATC and come play for funsies! For my ATC I used the Unity image “Autumn” and watercoloured it using Distress Markers and my Hydra Brush of +90 wetness. The “xoxo” is from a Tiddly Inks stamp called “Happily Ever After”.

This ATC will be entered into the following challenges:

I look forward to what this next year may bring. Hopefully loot…lots and lots of loot.
