That's Just Good Fashion Sense

Today we got word that there was a fashion designer, hailing all the way from the Peeled Paint Plains, in the village working on some new armour designs for Mikal’s shop. The Lady Commander of Copics was eager to meet the foreign designer and perhaps offer her input. I assured Angela that the woman was a professional and the opinions of some mere guildys would have no bearing on the new armour designs...but I have to admit...I was curious to meet the famous Petunia Travella and get a sneak peek at the new spring armour line.

For this ATC I used some blue paper and shaded the one edge with Distress Ink (although it’s hard to tell in the picture). I then paper pieced the head from the Dylusions “Travelling Travis” set and the body from the “Pondering Petunia” set and glued them together, colouring the rest with Distress Markers. The ribbon was found crumpled in the bottom of my ribbon bin and I thought it was time to put it to use. The word I stamped using the Mark’s Finest Paper “Be Wild & Free” set. I finished off this creation by adding a ‘lil gem to the paper pieced bow.

This beauty will saunter into the following challenges:
Wicked Wednesday Challenge #73: Ribbon and Bows
Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes
ATC’s With Attitude Challenge #34: Favourite Colours (pink and blue)
Dream Valley Challenge #51: Ribbon and Bling
Paper Playtime Challenge #5: Anything Goes
Spark Your Creativity Now! Challenge #7: Anything Goes

It turns out Petunia Travella was not impressed with the Lady Commander’s suggestions on improving almost every piece of armour with fur lining. She kept stressing this was for the spring and summer line of armour to which Angela meekly responded, “but I’m always cold in the spring and summer too.” I grasped the Lady Commander by the arm and steered her away from Mikal’s shop as I could see Petunia Travella was about to explode, rage smoldering behind her emerald eyes. The last thing we needed was a full out fashionista battle in the middle of the market square.
