Today we had a visitor from Aziana stop by the Guild Hall. It seems that Captain Jack Java
had been terrorizing her village, plundering and ravaging unchecked. Her clan had heard that the Crafters Guild was responsible for finally vanquishing the vile man and she had come to pay her respects on behalf of the people and congratulate us on a job well done.
Sooo...
not much going on with this card. I punched out a circle and stamped
the congratulations sentiment from a Close to My Heart set. I took a
piece of shiny black paper and embossed it with the Cuttlebug and Asian
lady folder. Then I added the washi tape for a pop of colour. This was
the first time I’ve used that washi tape since buying it and decided I
didn’t really like it. Oh well.
On the inside I stamped some images from the My Little Shoebox “Oasis” set...
...and once again on the envelope. I don’t have a lot to say about this card. I didn’t even earn any exp from crafting it.
I will enter this creation into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Black/White + Splash of Colour
Spark Your Creativity Now! Challenge #5: Anything Goes
CAS-ual Friday Challenge #85: Round of Applause
It
was nice to know that the Crafters Guild is making a difference by
saving a village from the horrors of a villain. There is much more work
to be done.
