Contributing to the Global Warming Problem

After a slight respite, temperatures in the realm have once again fallen to deathly cold readings. The Lady Commander of Copics and I rounded up all the animals, bringing them into the warmth of the Guild Hall and stables. We then made ourselves some hot beverages and relaxed by the fire. We were sitting for a mere ten minutes when we heard a tremendous thundering noise coming from outside. I raced to the frosty windows to see what the cause of the sound was. Lumbering by were hundreds of colossal snowpeople, their button eyes staring vacantly forward. I had a feeling these were some form of reanimated zombie snow-people and my fears were confirmed when I saw one pick up a lone coyote and shove the entire animal into it’s massive mouth. The Lady Commander and I donned our furs and snow gear and prepared to fell these unnatural icy beasts.
I started by stamping the snowman from “The Octopode Factory” and colouring him using Distress Markers. I used glossy accents on his button eyes to make them look more buttony. I then cut a piece of white paper for the background and spritzed it with some Dylusions spray ink. I used the “Let It Snow” stencil and Perfect Pearls Mist to add some glimmering snowflakes to the background that is annoyingly only visible in certain light.
I used the Dylusions “Bordering on the Edge” set for the ribbon-like images in the background. I cut the hanging snowflake using the Art Philosophy cartridges and stamped the sentiment from the BugBites “Mistletoe” set. Buttons and some white snowflakes (that were originally “table confetti) finished the front of this card off.
The inside flourish is from a Recollections brand stamp. The frame I cut using the Art Philosophy cartridge and stamped the sentiment inside it using the “Mistletoe” BugBites set again.
I stamped the same flourish onto the envelope to make it match the card. No one likes a sad lonesome envelope.

There were so many of these rampant zombie snowmen that our only option was to cast our double tech Flame Fan over and over again until the evil chaps simply melted, burning through mana potions along the way. On the bright side, there is now an abundance of winter clothing strewn across the plains and the temperatures seem to be going up. What’s this global warming that the alchemists keep warning us about...??
