In preparation for our quest to Icy Land, the Guardian of Glitter decided it prudent to call upon a luck fairy to bless our quest. I was skeptical as to the actual effects a luck fairy would have, but didn’t think it could hurt to have some extra luck on our side as we made the long and difficult journey to the frozen isle.
This card was created for the Just Some Lines March challenge which started today. Our theme this month is Good Luck/St. Patrick’s Day. Come play along using a JSL image for your chance to win!
I started this card by colouring the Just Some Lines “Fairy - 4 Leaf Clover” image using Prismacolor pencils and cutting her out. I then cut out some shamrocks using the Create-a-Critter 2 cartridge. I chose some ultra mega sparkly background paper that I’ve had sitting in my stash for over three years and die cut the sentiment using the Lawn Fawn “Quinn’s ABCs” dies. I used the negative cut and mounted the green paper onto some textured white paper, earning an extra +66 textile XP points.
The inside of this card is blank so I didn’t photograph it (obviously, cuz who wants to view a white rectangle?). The envelope I simply stamped using the Dylusions “Further Around the Edge” set.
This fairy will spread some luck across the following challenges:
Turns out the luck fairy not only shared a love of all things sparkly with the Guardian of Glitter, but she was also an avid gamer. After performing her luck increasing spell on us, we all sat down and played some Mage Knight. It was a fairy fun time <--lol puns.
