Last night The Crafters Guild decided to take a break from questing and had some friends over to enjoy some board gaming fun, where we passed the time slaying pretend zombies instead of real ones. We invited over our pals Marceanu and Bringle to join us. Let me say, they were sure downers the whole gaming session. They complained about everything, from the food we provided to the weapons they drew, the die roll results - it was exhausting.
I started this card by stamping The Octopode Factory images onto little square and colouring them using Prismacolor pencils. I left it unblended, setting aside the Gamsol I usually use, for a more sketchy feel.
I then added some ice Stickles to the dudes hat and coat, earning me +173 glittery exp points. I stamped the sentiment using the Unity “Naughty or Nice” set. I then added some embossed stitching to the sides with a border folder and my Cuttlebug of +200 texturization.
On the inside I stamped the sentiments using the Unity “Most Wonderful Time” itty bitty and the My Pink Stamper “Christmas Wishes” set. Anyone who receives this from me will know that the "wonderful" portion is totally meant to be sarcastic (in keeping with the cheeky sentiment on the front). I then added some Octopode holly and coloured it all sketchy with Prismacolors.
I stamped the same holly on the envelope to make everything all matchy match.
These two cheerful chaps will spread some cheer in the following challenges:
Needless to say, that next time we decide to kick back for some games, Marceanu and Bringle will not be invited. After a trying night of clearing a pretend town of imaginary zombies, we must now prepare to kill some real ones from the village of Pencilton that is being overrun. I sure do love our work.
