Tearing Up The Time Rift

Good day weary traveller. I image you are feeling sapped of all energy after travelling through the time rift that is surrounding Crafterton Vale to get to the Guild Hall. A nefarious clock-shifter demon has breached the portal between timelines and taken up residence in the Caves of Bane. Unfortunately, this has created a dangerous time rift in the region that is causing havoc with all the people within its borders. Today the Lady Commander of Copics, Guardian of Glitter and I will travel to the caves to seek out and destroy this clock-shifter.

I started this ATC by printing The Octopode Factory image and colouring it. Instead of my usual Prismacolors, I used some shimmery airbrushing paint to colour the image. It’s fairly thin paint (meant to go through an airbrush), so it’s a little more forgiving as far as covering up the black lines of the image. Colouring this with paint earned me +230 exp points, allowing me to level up my paint abilities.

You can see from this angle how shimmery this paint actually is. After that was done and dry I coloured the background with Distress Inks. I stamped the gears using the “Get In Gear” set from There She Goes. I then used the Unity “One Day At A Time” itty bitty and stamped the clock using brushed pewter Distress Paint, which you can also see is fairly shiny.
I then cast a haste spell granting me +400 speed points so I could ruuuuuuuuuun to the sink to clean all the paint of my stamp before it dried. *pant pant pant* PHEW....stamp saved.  Stamping with the paint still makes me nervous.
Last thing I added was the tick tock Octopode Factory words and a couple brads.

This ticking ATC will slow down time in the following challenges:

We armed ourselves well, making sure to pack numerous mana potions in anticipation of having to cast multitudes of haste spells as the clock-demon used its magic to try and slow us down. With our packs full, the three of us set out to the Caves of Bane to rid Crafterton Vale of this time shifting demon.

The adventure continues in Time Is Running Out...
