Tonight the Guardian of Glitter and I were headed out to Frost Point again after receiving a raven from the snowfolk of Blizzarton indicating there had been a recent rash of murders from some skinsaw demon. Those poor chilly people were just having poor luck. We spent the day preparing our packs, as it would take us much longer to reach Blizzarton this time with the accumulation of about five feet of snow. We were just finishing packing the supplies when one of the house gnome approached us.
“Please take this to the snowfolk,” she said holding a heart shaped object.
“What is it?” I inquired.
“I made it myself...well...with the help of Guild Apprentice Lindsay,” she said, blushing. “It’s infused with a luck spell, so that if you break it whilst in the village, a +777 luck bonus will be cast.”
This card was created for the reminder about the Just Some Lines November challenge that is happening now. Make a creation using at least three different embellishments and a Just Some Lines image for your chance to win.
I started out by colouring the Just Some Lines image using Prismacolor pencils and cutting her out. I cut the scallop circle and the regular circle using the Art Philosophy cartridge. I’ve used that cartridge so much, that it has now gained enough exp to level up!! The banner I stamped using the Lawn Fawn “Bannerific” set and the sentiment from the “Sophie’s Sentiments” set. I used vintage photo Distress Ink to ink around the edges of all the papers and the banner.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment using the Inkadinkado “Thoughts for the Day” set and inked around the edges of the paper. The rick-rack looking thing on the side is a Unity stamp (not sure from which set).
The envelope got stamped using the Dylusions “Further Around the Edge” set. I then coloured in the border with Distress Markers in the same colour scheme as the card.
This birthday girl will float into the following challenges and hopefully get lucky:
Pile It On Challenge #45: Show Us Your Tools (Cricut machine)
Knowing the snowfolk of Blizzarton could use all the extra luck they could get, I gratefully accepted the luck heart from our house gnome.
“Thank you, Gilda. The snowpeople will appreciate this,” the Guardian of Glitter said while I carefully placed the luck heart in our packs.
Finally it was time to head out. We mounted our horses and set off to Frost Point.
