Preserving the Mystery

Greetings crafty adventurer. Today the Lady Commander of Copics and I were in the village, getting an early start to our Christmas shopping, when we spotted a disturbance in the market square. A young woman was running amongst the baffled townsfolk screaming and shouting that she knew the identity of the present distributing fat man. My sister and I were privy to the true nature of Mr. Claus, however we knew he liked to keep his identity secret to preserve the mysterious nature of his present giving activities during the Winter Festival.

This tag was created for the reminder about the Just Some Lines November Challenge that is happening now! The theme this month is to use at least three different embellishments. Come play along with a JSL image for a chance to win a digi!

I started this tag by colouring the Just Some Lines “Em Joy” image using my Distress Markers. I then used the Lawn Fawn “Tag You’re It” dies to cut out the tag shape and the little reinforcement. The holly was stamped using the Lawn Fawn “Winter Gifts” set and also coloured using Distress Markers. I added some Glossy Accents on it for +20 bonus exp points. The sentiment I stamped is from the Unity “Naughty is the New Nice” kit.

On the back of the tag I stamped the sentiment and “to” and “from” using the My Pink Stamper “Christmas Wishes” set. The Christmas lights I stamped using some cheap-o Recollections set and coloured in with Distress Markers.

This ‘lil ‘ol tag will tie itself up in the following challenges:
There was only one thing to do - we had to silence the manic girl in the square. As Angela slowly drew her dagger from its sheath, clearly intending to take more drastic measures than I had in mind, I placed my hand over hers and shook my head. Staring intently at the girl shouting in the square, I muttered a few words under my breath, casting a Silence spell on her. At once she stopped yelling, looking confused. Slowly, the townsfolk started to go about their business, ignoring the young lady who was wandering back in the direction from whence she’d come.
