Welcome
to the Guild Hall. There has been an extreme lack of product emerging
from the crafting chambers as of late, due to the fact that I haven’t
had a functional crafting chamber in a week. My lord husband and I went
to the market square and splurged on some new furniture from Olaf’s
Oaken Emporium. Unfortunately, Olaf is rather lazy and doesn’t fully
assemble his creations to save on labour time. He delivers it to you in
pieces accompanied by “instructions” that appear to be written in
hieroglyphics. It has taken us an entire pasaran cycle to complete the
building of these new pieces and reassemble my crafting chamber to a
working state. To celebrate its completion, the Lady Commander of Copics
thought it prudent to invite the penguin pals over for a “grand
opening” party.
This card was created for the Just Some Lines
reminder post about our “For a Child” challenge that is happening now.
You can use the cute penguin freebie provided (or any Just Some Lines
image) and win some digis from the Just Some Lines Shop!
I
started by colouring the image using Distress Markers and my fabled
Hydra Brush, earning myself +291 water elemental exp points. This will
surely increase the damage I inflict using water based spells. I then
cut a card base out using the Art Philosophy cartridge. I used that
purple patterned paper that’s been sitting in my paper stash forever. I
stamped the banners using the Unity “Encircled Happy Birthday” set and
cut them out. The sentiment I stamped using the My Pink Stamper
“Birthday Crazy” set.
On
the inside I cut another panel using the Art Philosophy cartridge and
stamped the sentiment using the My Creative Time “Wow! So Many Candles”
set.
I cut out an envelope using the Art Philosophy cartridge and stamped some banners onto it to make it match the card.
This creation will chill out in the following challenges:
I
think the Lady Commander just looks for any excuse to invite the
penguin pals to the Guild Hall so she can marvel in their cuteness...and
the penguin pals are never a clan to dismiss the chance at a party.
