I'm a Little Owly

I am one tired guildy today. I got very little sleep last night as I was kept awake by a pair of twitterpated owls hooting, what I can only assume were, sweet nothings to each other. This carried on long into the night as the moon rose high, casting her silvery light across the realm. Finally, unable to stand it anymore I threw open my weapons cabinet and retrieved my great bow, marching back to the window.
To make this CAS card I stamped the owl using the Unity “Bright Eyes” itty-bitty. I then embossed the side using a border folder and my Cuttlebug. The sentiment I stamped using the Unity “You Always” set. I then cut the little “photo corners” using the Art Philosophy cartridge.

On the inside I cut another couple small photo corners and placed them around the sentiment I stamped using the Unity “Deer to Me” set.

Instead of stamping on the envelope as I using do, I decided to emboss it using the same folder I did for the front.

This owlet will hoot into the following challenges:
(I didn’t really have these exact colours, so I tried to get close matches)

When I opened the wooden shutters to dispense of the noisy creatures, I was surprised to see they were gone. Thankful I didn’t have to do something I’d regret, I placed my weapon back in the cabinet and quietly slipped back beneath the sheets.

I am a huge fan of owls! (I started to say their meat taste so good but I know I would get all kinds of people yelling at me even though I would be kidding, JUST kidding) I love your card and the envelope is so cool. Never thought of embossing my envelope!

Hugs,

Chriss

Cute cards -- I like how you did the corners. I'm glad the owls left your yard on their own and you didn't have to dispatch them yourself. Thanks for playing along in the Inspiration Challenge on Speedy TV this week.

Very cute card! The owls would join a very large and noisy throng of animals at our house, some of whom I am sure would LOVE if we went to the Land of Nod a lot earlier.BTW the extra embossing looks really classy!
