A Puzzling Position

Today we received a mysterious package at the Guild Hall. It appeared to be some sort of map, however it was broken into interlocking pieces. We didn’t know what the map may lead to, or who had left the package, but never ones to dismiss a mystery, the Lady Commander and I began assembling the strangely shaped pieces.

I began this card by stamping the large puzzle pieces on different shades of pink paper using the Unity “Love You to Pieces” set and cutting them out. I used one of the sentiments from that set and covered up the “love” portion of the stamp, replacing the word with some sparkly sticker letters.
I got those stickers in a My Little Shoebox warehouse order that I did over a year ago and have yet to even open the package. Well cracking open the cellophane today earned me -193 hoarder exp points. I always delight when my exp in this category drops.

I stamped the inside with another sentiment from that Unity set and then stamped more puzzle pieces in the background using some light pink ink.

Stamping some pink puzzle pieces onto the envelope made it coordinate with the card, making my OCD smile.

This CAS card will fit nicely into the following challenges:

After numerous hours and countless mugs of tea, the Lady Commander and I finally assembled the completed puzzle. It appeared to be a detailed map of the nearby Inkblot Caves. Those caves are considered unexplorable due to the labyrinth of deadly obstacles. With this map however, we would have a shot at being the first guild to successfully complete the quest.
