A Pear of Spritz Bombs

Today I went to the market in the village to see if Mikal, the owner of the weapon shop, would buy my design for the Red Spritz Bomb I had invented. Luckily he was looking for some new explosives to stock his shelves and was interested in the bomb I had come up with. After a short but colourful demonstration, he thought maybe we could infuse the bomb with fire magic so it would cause massive fire damage upon detonation. Mikal then asked if I would be able to make another one, but in perhaps a different colour so we could infuse it with a different element. I was only too happy to oblige.

At the urging of the Lady Commander of Copics, I decided to make a little army of these Valentines cards using different colours of spray inks. So once again I masked off the middle strip and gave it a couple shots of Dylusions spray ink. This time instead of scoring the seam I used a border embossing folder and ran it through the Cuttlebug. I then used Lawn Fawn’s “My Silly Valentine” and stamped the sentiment and pears, colouring them with Prismacolors. I dug into my stash and found two little heart shaped green buttons and added them to the card.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from “My Silly Valentine” along with the pears again.

This time on the envelope I used the Dylusions “Luscious Leaves” stencil and some spray ink to decorate it. I then stamped some green hearts onto some of the leaves.

This creation will come into fruition in the following challenges:
Tammy’s Scrapin’ Corner Challenge #47: Use Buttons
Love to Create Challenge #50: Anything Goes With A Sentiment
Shopping Our Stash Challenge #87: Valentines, Hearts, Red, Love
Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Anything Goes

Fat Pages & Cards With Attitude Challenge #32: Love
Winter Wonderland Challenge: Monochromatic
MilkCoffee Valentine’s Challenge

One Crazy Stamper February Love Challenge
MFP SpeedyTV Simple Salutations Challenge #30: Anything Goes
Desert Island Crafters Challenge #47 - used 1 (love/romance), 2 (hearts), 6 (sentiment), 10 (image of a “couple”)

After having already worked out the kinks when experimenting with the Red Spritz Bomb, creating one in another colour was a relatively simple process. I chose to create a green one, which Mikal and I then infused with a magical poison. He now had a “pear” of the bombs and I went back to the crafting chambers to continue working on more colours.

Like the spritz splatter spray look & the edge embossing. The sentiment compliments the image. I did some spritzing of some Gold on a patriotic card. Thanks for entering MFP Simple Salutations Anything Goes challenge.
